Celebration of Life Services will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 from The Morning Star Baptist Church 7-9 Bragaw Avenue, Newark NJ.

     

Viewing will be from 10:00am to 11:00am;service to follow.

       

Interment- Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ.

My sincere condolences to the family (my CBC family) in the transition of a sweet spirit Ms Mary Stewart. My whole childhood is somehow connected with Ms Mary who was CBC church secretary. I have such fond memories of her using that old hand cranked mimeograph machine printing out those sometimes blurry church bulletins 😇. I can see the big tubes of ink used and can almost smell it too. What a testament when you can think of a person and smile a big smile and Ms Mary does that for me. May her soul Rest in Peace and in Paradise and may your sweet memories soothe your souls and heal your broken hearts. 🙏🙏🙏 Love, Karen Maxwell and family
