While we’ve only know Dre for a few years - living right above us - his loss is felt deep in our hearts. Dre always had the biggest smile on his face. He was such a great kid - always thought of him as a big teddy bear. Being a Steelers fan (and us Giants fans ) we always had fun football banter with him and Andre Sr. Dre had the biggest heart. Both Kaitlyn & Nicholas still have the items he gave them - a few beautiful marble stones (Kaitlyn) and a little stuffed lizard (Nicholas). When they heard of Dre’s passing, they kept these items close to them as a way to not forget him. Rest In Peace, Dre

I met Andre in high school we were like Bestfriend’s. Andre , Jill and I all did choir together everytime we would see each other in the hallways at school he would ask Jill if I was staying out of trouble and he would ask me if I’m keeping an eye out on jill. We would laugh and joke around all day. I still remember when he found out I was having a baby after high school he was so shocked and I will never forget when he came over and held her for the first time we talked for hours that day about high school and how college was to what we were up to now , what we wanted our future to look like. I remember walking around Bayonne at night with, him ,Gavin, our friend Lola and my daughter and he would always tell me that I’m not getting my daughter back when Gavin would take her to hold her or push her.

I met Andre in the 4th grade. We went to Washington Community School and throughout our years there, I can’t count how many times Andre and I have gotten in trouble just for making each other laugh. His laugh was the type of laugh that would make you laugh, and it was a loud one. We graduated from there and went to Bayonne High School. From there, our bond grew even stronger. Five days a week right after school, we would walk home together because he lived two blocks away from me. We did that for four years and those walks are some of the fondest memories that I cherish dearly. The conversations we had in those walks would range between rap battles, talking about music, questions about life and what the future holds for us. After we graduated high school, I moved down to Florida. We would FaceTime and text every now and then to catch up on music and what was going on in our life. Then every Christmas I would fly up to Jersey and that would be the only time I could actually hang out with Andre. Every time I saw him, we would walk around Bayonne then go to the diner to eat. After that we would part ways, and when we said bye to each other we always said “I love you”. I am blessed to have those words be the last thing we ever shared. I love you.

His laugh still rings in my heart. He was the kindness soul and was the embodiment of light. Andre was loyal, empathic, and always positive. I’ve had the honor of knowing him since about the 1st grade. All my memories of him are anchored in laughs/good times. Andre was always smiling and always singing. That’s how I will remember him. I look forward to the day that I will see Andre again and it’s a hope I hold dear. (Rev 21:3,4)

I knew Andre since I was 11 years old and the one thing I will always remember is how hard he used to make me laugh. The funniest and the most sweet. He had the biggest smile always and his laugh was contagious. I thought about Andre from time to time since we graduated highschool. I missed his hugs. He gave the best hugs. Sending hugs and prayers to his family and his close friends. I adored Andre, he was one of a kind.

Life shouldn’t be taken away at such a young age. Regardless of who it is, rather if we knew them or not - the respect is there. I know those close to you will hold their memories with you, forever & after. Those that knew you, will miss you, so you’ll never be forgotten in this world. Rest In Peace, Young King.

I love you and I miss you so much. You ARE an amazing friend and I’m glad I am able to call you that and forever will. Although we are friends, you’re also like a brother to me and lll always cherish our memories together. This isn’t goodbye forever, it’s only goodbye for now. We’ll see you again one day, and we’ll catch up on everything that we’re doing. Rest In Peace Andre, I love you brother!

I can’t put into words what I’m feeling right now. I still can’t believe you are gone I don’t want to say goodbye. I just want to walk up to you and give you the biggest hug right now. I’ll never forget you Andre you were everything to me my brother and best friend. I’ll always cherish all the memories I have with you. It hurts so freaking much right now that I can’t have one last hug from you. But I know you’ll be watching over me in heaven. I’ll love you forever and always my brother. I really don’t want to go on in life without you by my side. We were so inseparable always by each other’s side. But I know you would want me to continue on with my life. Rest In Peace in gods beautiful kingdom. Until we meet again at gods gates. I know you’ll be there waiting for me. I love you my brother. An don’t worry I got mom and dad for life. Forever my brother
